For me, travel did exactly that. And I have a little story I like to call my Hallmark story.
It All Started in Paris...
In 2019, while working as a Hotel Manager aboard a European river cruise ship, I met a passenger who would eventually become my husband.
We met in Paris, surrounded by the romance of the city and the magic of river cruising. At the time, neither of us could have imagined where that meeting would lead.
We became friends and stayed in touch for years. There were countless phone conversations, visits to each other's countries, and many moments of getting to know one another. Somewhere along the way, friendship turned into something more.
In 2023, my Hallmark story reached its next chapter. My husband proposed to me at the Atlanta airport, and we celebrated our love with a small, beautiful wedding ceremony on the beach at Jekyll Island, Georgia.
Travel brought us together, crossed the distance between our countries, and changed our lives forever.
My love for travel began long before that special meeting in Paris.
I have spent 15 years in the hospitality and cruise industry, including 11 years working onboard European river cruise ships with AmaWaterways and four years with Norwegian Cruise Line.
Living and working at sea gave me a perspective that you simply cannot get from reading a brochure. I experienced the destinations, learned how cruise ships operate, worked closely with guests, and discovered what makes a vacation truly memorable.
After years of helping others enjoy their journeys, I decided it was time to turn my experience into something of my own.
Two years ago, I opened TRIPS & VIEWS Travel Agency, turning my passion and industry knowledge into a business built around personal service and thoughtful travel planning.
I invested in professional travel advisor certification, ongoing education, industry training, and membership in the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA). I believe that learning never stops, especially in an industry that is always changing.
Why I Love What I Do
I know that choosing a vacation can sometimes feel overwhelming. There are so many destinations, cruise lines, ships, itineraries, and options to consider.
My goal is to make that process easier.
I enjoy getting to know my clients, understanding what they are looking for, and using my experience to recommend the right travel experiences for them.
Whether it's an ocean cruise, a European river journey, a guided tour, a private vacation, or a group adventure, I want every client to feel that their trip has been thoughtfully planned.
For me, travel is not just about where you go. It's about the experiences you collect, the people you meet, and the memories you bring home.
When I'm not planning vacations, I enjoy gardening, discovering new places, and spending time with my husband. I have a soft spot for beautiful coastlines, European cities, river cruising, and destinations that offer something a little different.
